What we collect
A quote request asks for your name, one contact method, postal code, project type and consent to sharing. Contact messages also include the message you write. We retain the submission time, page and referral context needed to process the request. We use a short-lived, non-reversible network identifier for submission rate limiting, rather than keeping the raw IP address in the lead record.
How we use and share it
We use the information to receive and manage your enquiry. With your consent, a quote request may be shared with contractors in our partner network so they can contact you about the project. We do not use this consent to subscribe you to unrelated marketing. A contractor handles information you later provide directly to them under their own practices.
Website hosting and enquiry storage are provided through Cloudflare. Service infrastructure may process data outside your province or Canada. Enquiry records are not publicly accessible. Authorised people handling the website or referral process can access them as needed.
Retention and your choices
The website is configured to remove stored enquiry details after 180 days. You can ask to correct or delete a record sooner through the contact form. Copies already shared with a contractor are under that contractor’s control; requests about those copies should also be directed to the contractor. Information may need to be retained when required for an applicable legal obligation or unresolved issue.
Website measurement
We count form starts and saved enquiries by page to understand whether the site helps visitors. These counters do not contain the name, contact details or message from your form. The site does not set advertising cookies or publish personal information to an analytics service. The quote checklist runs in your browser and does not send its selections to us.
Sharing consent
Submitting a quote request requires consent to the described referral follow-up. If you do not want your details shared with partner contractors, you can browse the planning guides without submitting a quote request. For a privacy question, use the dedicated contact form.
